Miguel Sandalinas has a degree in Law from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona. He has been a practising lawyer since 1990. He is the founding partner of Begur Legal and manager of Insolvency and commercial departments of the firm.
He is a member of the Valencia Bar Association, Barcelona Bar Association and Madrid Bar Association. He is also member of Insol Europe and Insol International since 2004 and member of the Association of Bankruptcy Administrators of Spain.
Until June 2015, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Bar Association of Valencia, taking special care of training in the bankruptcy area being involved, as organizer and speaker, in many courses and conferences. He also is a Bankruptcy mediator.
In the commercial area, he is an expert in any kind of contracts and advising business groups. At the same time, he has appeared in arbitration tribunals related to the area of commercial contracting. The most frequent sectors in his practice are construction, new technologies, food, and distribution
In the bankruptcy area, he is often appointed by the Commercial Courts of all Spanish territory, as an Official Receiver in bankruptcy proceedings for corporate groups. He is an expert in insolvencies with labour conflict situations. He has experience in selling business units from insolvency companies that have continued to remain active.
As a debtor’s attorney, he is a legal director of a multitude of procedures, always related to the business field.
He is the lawyer of two of the world’s leading credit insurance companies, advising them on the matter for more than 25 years.
